TOP 10 free experiences that Dubai offers
Dubai is a place where almost anything is possible. It likes to invite tourists to shop, to luxury resorts and to enjoy his records – the largest fountain, the tallest skyscraper or a novelty in the form of the tallest observation wheel in the world. However, for a long time Dubai was only a destination for the wealthy. Many experiences and places are suitable for the whole family with children or young couples who long for real romance. If you want to enjoy Dubai without going bankrupt, we have 10 top experiences that Dubai offers completely free for you.
1. See the Grand Bur Dubai Masjid
Grand Bur Dubai, also known as the Grand Bur Dubai Masjid, is one of the most famous places of worship in Dubai. The mosque is located in the monument zone and has a capacity of 1,200 believers. It also has the tallest minaret in Dubai, measures 70 meters and resembles a lighthouse.
The building has a rich history and was once a school or “kuttab” dedicated to the study of the Qur’an. The first students took part in the studies in 1900 and memorized the Qur’an. A new mosque was built in 1960 and rebuilt in 1998 to imitate the original architecture.
2. Enjoy relaxing on the beach
Dubai has several pebble public beaches with free entry. We recommend going to JBR beach – convenient for children, Kite Beach or Umm Suqeim beach. They offer refreshment and there are many restaurants, shops and cafés in the water.
3. Ride bike in the desert
One of the most original experiences in Dubai for free (except for renting a bike) is the ride through the Al Qudra Desert.
